Estudillo Mansion

Estudillo Mansion
Agricultural Festival

Estudillo Mansion 1890 Built in San Jacinto California in 1884 by Francisco Estudillo Jr. He was the son of Jose Antonio Estudillo, who obtained a 35,000 acre Mexican land grant in 1842. It was known as Rancho San Jacinto Viejo and later became the location of Hemet and San Jacinto. The Estudillo Mansion was a private residence until the 1992 Landers earthquake made it uninhabitable. At that time it was purchased by Riverside County and later became the property of the city of San Jacinto. Both the exterior and interior have been restored and the Estudillo Mansion is now the cornerstone of the Francisco Estudillo Heritage Park.
